PRESS RELEASE from SEOTAIJI ARCHIVE
The Historic Data of Twenty years Is Reborn as “Seotaiji Archive”

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Seotaiji’s debut, a homepage “Seotaiji Archive” (www.seotaiji-archive.com) will be opened to the public on 23rd, March, 2012. This is one of the 20th anniversary events that the various domestic and foreign fans from teenagers to thirties donated their time and skills for around 18 months in Seotaiji Archive Project Team, which was formed on 17th, August, 2010.

The purpose of Seotaiji Archive Project is to establish a digital archive for Seotaiji’s worth and significance in Korean cultural history, which will become a window that provides the accurate knowledge and information to the public that contributes to expand the boundaries of cultural awareness to the researchers. Also, it recalls the memories of Seotaiji and many people who have loved his music for a long time and provides a chance for newly interested fans to experience the past vicariously.

Seotaiji Archive was designed as the users can directly upload their own data for two decades and will be operated as a place of communication for periodical, historical, and cultural bonds. It is a voluntarily-participated-mania-project that surpasses the regular notion of fan sites and develops a new field of fandom. For example, the script of the radio broadcast were typed into digital files by almost 150 fans who volunteered to donate their time.

The site contains the digital data of Seotaiji and his fandom from Seotaiji’s Sinawee days to the present 2012. The categories are broadly divided into SEOTAIJI information about his history, discography, show, etc.), MEDIA (TV, radio, newspaper, magazine, photo, etc.), and FANDOM (activity, collection, fan art, etc.). Visitors can check the Seotaiji’s twenty-year-history at a glance through overall 6,500 posts including almost 260 TV data.

All the data about Seotaiji and related files will be recorded and managed continuously after the open. Anybody can see, listen, and record the data and also can send the data to their twitter, facebook, and blogs anytime and anywhere. The site will be opened in both of PC version and mobile version.

Seotaiji Archive homepage(www.seotaiji-archive.com) will be opened

on March 23rd 2012 (At midnight of March 22nd).

Yes, today is my birthday ㅋㅋ

이제 빼도 박도 못하는 40이라며? 근데 지금은 여기는 아직 20일이라서 아직 39세야~ ㅎㅎ

So 40, huh? But here is still 20th so I’m still 39years old~ ㅎㅎ

모두 잘 지내고 있지?

이번 생일에도 너희들에게 축하를 너무 많이 받은 것 같아.

신상자켓, 디카질감, 무리한중년얼굴, 수상한사진보유자, 등등 수많은 단서로 약 13분 이내로 수사를 종결할 것이라 예상했는데.. 대체 몇 시간이나 몰라 보다니..

그리고 이 사진 ‘4집’ 사진 폴더 에 저장한 사람 손들어봐! ㅋㅋ 이봐~ 좀더 분발해야겠어~ ㅋ(최’수종 전문가도 그럴싸는했으나 일단 진급보류 ㅋㅋ)

17년 동안 얼굴이 슬슬 자랐나봐 얼굴만 8집이야 ㅋㅋ

My face has been getting old slowly for the last 17 years.. only my face stays 8th ㅋㅋ

여행도 다니고 뭔가 새로운 경험들을 할 때 마다 영감님과 조우도 하고 그렇게 잘 지내고 있어.

근데 사실 나 지금 말이야.. 간만에 (사진 찍던 날) 에어를 한다고 까불다가엉덩이로 떨어졌는데 왜 허리가 나간거지? 윽.. 노인네처럼 천천히 걸어다녀야 해.. (암튼 이렇게 잘지내고 있어 ㅋㅋ)

in fact.. I’ve got my back thrown out doing the air(snowboard) I don’t know why cuz I fell on my backside. I walk around like an elderly persone.. (anyway I’m doing fine like this ㅋㅋ)

오늘은 너희 덕에 오랜만에 스펙터클하게 보낸 것 같아 즐거운 하루가 되었어 (어서 진정한 스펙터클 버전으로 놀아야 할텐데.. ^^)
